Padlet


After our assessment workshop at the start of term, I was thinking about the example of formative assessment we were shown - the example of "My favourite No".


Although this is a maths example, I am sure we could apply this idea for all subject areas.

How could we make this easier with technology? One solution would be Padlet (which we also used)
The problem could be written on the board or on the Padlet wall, then students could post their solutions. It is simple to organise the responses in right and wrong piles and saves the step of giving out and collecting paper. You can also revisit the wall to recall or revise.

After you are done, there are lots of options for sharing, exporting, saving or printing your wall.

Padlet could be used in so many ways to gather students thoughts and ideas quickly or encourage collaboration. Here is an example:
