Only a few of us are lucky enough to have a cool Smartboard in the rooms we teach in... the software that works with the Smartboard is called Notebook.
Just because you don't have a Smartboard, here are two good reasons to have Notebook on your laptop:
- It is a great tool for organising content... you can add text, add screenshots, import PDF or powerpoint and you have access to thousands of images in the gallery. The lesson activity toolkit has hundreds of cool templates for activities. Click here for a tutorial.
- You may not always be in that room without a Smartboard! Many times we have to change rooms and being able to connect to the Smartboard at least gives you the option to use it as a whiteboard.
