This week we had a parents ICT night where parents learned about the iPad and how it is used at school, plus some tips & tricks on online safety and keeping track of what is going on with their children's iPad use.
Curbi provides parents with ability to manage their child's mobile online experience. They can stop in-app purchases, block adult content and set boundaries for social media use and time wasting apps.
The main concern that many parents had is not being able to control the use of the iPad. My position is that parenting through communication and trust trumps blocking and control any day. BUT there is a valid need for some control.
