BrainPOP is a very cool website/app that is available for all our students.
BrainPOP creates animated, curriculum-based content that supports teachers and engages students - in school, at home, and on mobile devices. Our resources include movies, quizzes, games, mobile apps, experiments, activity pages, and much more covering hundreds of topics within Maths, Science, Social Studies, English, Technology, Arts & Music, and Health.
One thing that I love is the games - BrainPOP worked with ACTUAL game designers so the games are the best educational games I have seen.
The site is not just for junior students, the Calculus intro video is great! Ever heard of Drake's equation for estimating the likelihood of there being other intelligent life in the universe? That is a game in there!

Set your class a topic to study, get them to watch the video and do the quiz that follows. You can check their scores at the end to see how they went. This can be a great homework assignment also.
