Especially for a GAFE (Google Apps for Education) school, Google Drive is at the heart of our digital services.
With Drive we can store and share all our files - simple!So what is it all about?
So this "Cloud" thing - what is all THAT about. Basically, instead of files being stored on you computer, they are stored online "in the cloud". That makes collaborating with others MUCH easier. It means you can access your files from any computer that is connected to the internet.
Another great feature is that we can access all our files on an iPad using the Google Drive app. Here is a quick overview (*Note that since the video was made you can now create presentations on the iPad). The iPad doesn't have the same file structure that a laptop/desktop has, but using the Google Drive app you can access, organise, upload, move, and share all your files you have in Google Drive. Cool!
