A quick post here about a new tool that is an extension of Google Earth called Tour Builder.

This is a great way to show places you have been on a trip - you are able to pin locations, upload your own text images or video you took in those locations and share with others.

One other great feature is the ability to use the street view option to get to ground level.
Great possibilities for students to use this to detail and share their adventures on holiday or school trips or come up with their own fantasy holiday! Students could also create a geographical timeline of their life with reflections on the times they have lived in different locations.
