YouTube playists

Sharing video content from YouTube is easy if you know how to set up a playlist. It is a great way to create video playlists for yourself also!

Here is an overview on how to create, manage and share a playlist:

Notice that you can share your playlist via a link, on social media, email or even embed the playlist in a blog or LMS like Seqta.

In "Playlist settings" you can change the privacy level (Unlisted, private, public) and define how the videos will be ordered (most viewed, date added etc)

You can also have rules based on the title, description or tag on a video that will automatically add your video to a playlist. So if you use a unique tag (eg MM2015) with a video you make it will automatically be added to your list.

Wouldn't it be cool to have a shared playlist that all the students in your class or a group could add to - perhaps videos on a topic they found that helped them? Easy! Simply select the "Collaborate" tab and share the link.

If you often share or watch videos on YouTube, this is a great way to have an organised way of saving videos and a better alternative than a list of links to different videos.
