Microsoft Teams channels are a great way to organise and structure your Team.
Each Team begins with a "General" channel and more can be added which gives your Team a way to separate different areas, themes, topics, or projects so each can be collaborated on independently.
Each channel has its own conversation area, its own files area and if there is a OneNote notebook with the Team, the channel has its own section. Extra tabs can be added in each channel.
