PowerPoint - record slide narrations

This tip shows how you can use a PowerPoint presentation and record your narration while changing slides, then share this as a movie.
There are a lot of applications here, for both students and teachers. Teachers can use this to create lessons for students using PowerPoint as a base - which is great for a lot of teachers who have used PowerPoint as a purely in-class lecture tool. Students can use PowerPoint to prepare engaging and visual presentations and record their pitch as they go through slides. This can then be exported as a movie file then uploaded to (for example) SeeSaw or Stream or YouTube. For students who struggle to present in front of an entire class this is a great alternative to the dreaded public presentation.

Two excellent features include the ability to include a camera video so your image can be included plus using a pen-enabled device like a Microsoft Surface Pro you can annotate on the slides as you are talking - fantastic again for presentations on the go!
