Classroom Screen

Classroom Screen is a website that is a bit of a swiss army knife for teachers. The idea is you can have a big canvas projected on your class projector that has a ton of nice tools built in.

Just go to https://classroomscreen.com/ - no sign in, sign up, figuring out which account or pricing plans! Just a website with a big gorgeous picture...

At the bottom of the screen are a number of tools:
  • Background - choose an image, GIF or upload your own HD image
  • Random name - enter a list of names and choose one at random or roll 1, 2 or 3 virtual dice (handy!)
  • Sound Level - Want to monitor the sound level in class? This gives you a visual bar with noise level
  • QR Code - generate a QR code for any website
  • Drawing - gives you the whole screen to draw on with simple tools, a grid, isometric grid or lined paper.
  • Text - display text instructions
  • Work Symbols - a visual for how you want your class to work (silence, whisper, ask neighbour, work together)
  • Traffic Light
  • Timer - both countdown and stopwatch with alarms at the end

  • Clock - with both analog and digital displays

But wait that's not all! The final great tool in here is a polling tool you can use as an exit poll or during a lesson. Simply type the question and students can enter their response - either on an interactive screen or on your device directly. You have a number of different scales to choose from with basic emoticons.

I can imagine this being a SUPER handy tool to have, particularly in a Junior School classroom.
