Microsoft Forms - upload a file

A great new option in Microsoft Forms is the ability to ask respondents to upload a file. This option will only be available if you choose "Only people in my organization can respond" so this will not work if you are sending the Form to parents, for example.

This is a really helpful option for teachers who want to use Forms for assessment and have students upload a document as part of that assessment.

The file upload can be specified by type, either:

  • Word
  • Excel
  • PowerPoint
  • PDF
  • Image
  • Video
  • Audio
You can also allow up to 10 file uploads, with a limit on each of 10MB, 100MB or 1GB

Files uploaded go into an automatically created folder (with the name of the Form) in your OneDrive, plus you can access them from the responses tab in the Form - nice!
