Seqta WISP assessments

WISP assessments in Seqta are a great way to engage in a task with students so that you can see a progression of work from beginning ideas to finished product.

My experience as a student involved working on a project, submitting it and having it graded - only then did I receive feedback from my teacher about what I could have done better - but by then it was too late and we were on to the next thing. Yes the feedback would hopefully help guide me for the next task, but I would have preferred some guidance to help do the task just gone.

Wouldn't it be better if we could give feedback to students in the middle of a task (or any time really) so they can make adjustments and improve their writing/design/ideas/script etc? If we want student to show mastery - this is a neat tool.

When you enable WISP assessments in creating an assessment, students get an extra icon in their assessment view:

This allows them to work with all of the editing tools within Seqta, inserting links, YouTube videos, tables, pictures, picture galleries etc. At any stage they can create a "snapshot" of their work which is then accessible to the teacher in the marksbook. They can create as many snapshots as needed, so the teacher can see the progression over time in the work they are doing. Teachers can add comments and annotate on the page as a great way of giving feedback WITHIN the process of learning.
